Day 1 - No people-eating here! The uphill long day. Two climbs and lots of downhill. Route: We start at Truckee, where lots of people froze a while ago. Then head over Donner Summit which is a 1000' climb. This climb is not steep, just long. We follow next to I-80 for a long time. After passing through Nevada City we head south and camp at Rollins Lake. Total Distance: 60 Miles |

Day 2 - Yay more downhill.Rolling hills, good scenery? Route: From Rollins Lake we head south. Rolling hills continue downhill a few thousand more feet. We still follow close to I-80, until we get close to Folsom Lake. Here we get onto a long paved bike path. Hopefully this will be nice views. It will be nothing compared to the mountains of Day 1. We camp at the south end of Folsom Lake and rest for a flatter day. Total Distance: 40 Miles |

Day 3 - I smell cows! The flat day. Try not to fall asleep. Route: From the camp site we continue on the paved bike path. This follows the American River all the way to Sacramento. Overall the day is 400' downhill, but might be rolling so there is uphill too. The path ends in Sacramento where everyone collapses. Total Distance: 28 miles |
