Day 1 - Hills are good for you!The steep day. Start at Tim's, go up then down into Santa Cruz. Route: From Tim's, we go for 3 miles of uphill hell to Skyline. Then we take that to Bear Creek for a quick downhill to Summit. Summit leads to Zayante (remember this from last year) which goes down to Felton. From there its Highway 9 into Santa Cruz. Total Distance: 24 Miles |

Day 2 - Extra miles time.From Santa Cruz, we take Soquel Dr all the way past Soquel to Freedom Blvd. Freedom turns to Airport at the Freedom Airport. Random roads take us through Watsonville to Elkhorn Rd. Yes there are a few hills here! Castroville Rd takes us through Castroville, where we start riding on paved paths. The paths take us to Marina where we camp for the nite. Total Distance: 40 Miles |

Day 3 - I see an otter!Marina leads to Monterey, then around 17 Mile Drive and to Pt Lobos Route: From Marina we get on the happy bike trail that leads all the way to Cannery Row in Monterey. Ocean View takes us to 17 Mile Drive, which follows the coast (not for 17 miles tho). A quick sprint up Spyglass Hill is about the only hill. After passing through Carmel, Highway 1 leads to Pt Lobos where we pretend we can still ride more. Total Distance: 30 miles |
